International Education College Holds Calligraphy Training as Part of the Chinese Talent Training Series

To promote the excellence of Traditional Chinese culture and provide a learning and exchange platform for domestic and international students who had shown a great interest in Chinese Calligraphy, the International Education College held a specialized training, as a part of the series of “Chinese Talent Training Activities”. This training started on April 17, 2023, and lasted for a week, with a total of six training sessions and participants about 40 person-times.

The training invited Wang Xiangrui, a student of our university, to teach international students both Soft Brush and Fountain pen calligraphy. Wang Xiangrui has been learning calligraphy since childhood and has a deep foundation in calligraphy. In addition, he has good English communication skills and successfully instructed this training. At the end of the training, international students held their brushes, dipped them in ink, and gradually presented their talent on the paper. Their faces were filled with smiles and pride as they held their own works. They expressed their love for Chinese Calligraphy and deeply felt the vast and profound Chinese culture during the training.
