1.Our summer vacation begins on 17^th July., 2017 and ends on 2^nd Sept., 2017. If you are late, you will be marked absent for 5 class hours/day no matter whether you have classes or not on your class timetable. That means if you are late for 2 to 5 days without permission, you will get punishment from warning to quitting school automatically.

2. Those who leave China in holidays must come to IEC office within 24 hourswhen you get back so as to renew you accommodation record which is compulsory for the extension of your residence permit, is also required by immigration office.

3. Some students think that they need to pay tuition and hostel fee before their residence permit expires, or they can pay half by half. It is a misunderstanding. The tuition and fees will be charged in terms of the academic year not semester. Students are required to pay within the first four weeks of each academic year (work day, below), including tuition and accommodation fee and so on. Please arrange your fees during holidays. University will not give permission to have delayed payment or pay half by half.

4. Registration: The international students should register at the IEC with student’s card, the receipts of the tuition fee and hostel fee in the FIRST-FOUR WEEKS of each semester. Failure to register in the time limit will lead to the cancellation of the eligibility of registration, and you will be deemed as quitting by yourself.

5. Disciplinary action will be taken to those students who cook in rooms and use prohibited electrical appliances. Disciplinary action may affect your degree in accordance with the seriousness of the situation or whether you can continue your study in this university.

6. Students must go back to the dormitory by 11:00 pm. If you are going out after 11:00 P.M., please ask for permission from your class in charge in advance; otherwise, the working staff has right to refuse your leaving requirement.

7. If your passport is to expire, you should apply for a new one before you apply for extension of your residence permit and ensure its validity is at least one year. If you renewed your passport, you need to submit the original and a copy of your passport to IEC office within 7 days so as to update your accommodation information. Your new residence permit will not be given if the information is not updated.

8. Those who intend to continue their study in China should apply for the extension and submit required documents at least 10 working days (half a month is suggested) before the expire date of the Residence Permit to the IEC, otherwise the student himself should take the responsibility for the consequence of being late. You have to get your physical examination result before you submit your application documents, so you need to plan when to have physical examination.

9. If you travel to other countries or cities, you must inform your class in charge, CR or acting CR, teacher on duty, telling him or her the place and time, and keep in touch with your class in charge and your classmates.

10. Make-up exams will be given at the weekend of the first week of the coming new semester.

11. Don’t go swimming alone. Don’t go swimming in unfamiliar water area or water area without safety equipment or without equipment of rescuers.

12. When you arrive at home or destination, please inform your class in charge, CR or acting CR.

13. Take care of yourself, especially when you leave our campus. We suggest that you should ask at least one classmate to go with you when you leave our campus, especially when you leave Tangshan. When you travel to other places or cities, please take registered taxi or bus for safety purpose.
